As a System Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining IT systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for promptly responding to requests for new systems, assessing their capacity and user requirements, and determining the necessary resources, including power, space, cooling, and funding, to meet these goals. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the organization's IT infrastructure operates effectively and efficiently to support its mission.

Requirements

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university is required. Alternatively, you can substitute the degree requirement with an additional five years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of a similar nature, scope, and complexity.

Skill Requirements: 

  • Five years of System Administrator experience

  • Expertise in Computer Network Operations and Information Assurance

  • Familiarity with Oracle

  • Strong independent and collaborative work skills

  • Problem-solving and progress-tracking abilities
